WELCOME!
Spending time with patients, listening to them tell their stories, and creating a trusting patient-physician bond is the bedrock of my private practice of internal medicine. Not contracting with HMOs or other forms of "managed care" gives me the clinical autonomy to practice a kind of medicine which is valued by my patients. Most of my patients are people with problems, physical or emotional. Many have known tragedy themselves or that of loved ones. All of my patients try to lead whole, healthy lives and allow me to help. They value compassion, respect, integrity and tact; above all, judgement to know how to help individuals in particular circumstances at particular times in their lives.
